Guitar lessons from a Catholic nun eventually led to playing “Kumbaya, My Lord” in church as a boy. He somehow survived, and later started his first band with his best friend in High School and played the “odd gig” at the local roller rink.
His touring resumé covers hundreds of shows in the upper midwest but also New York, Los Angeles, Nashville, as well as Hamburg, Berlin, Remscheid, & Osnabrück, Germany and Vienna, Austria.
His deep dive into personal development resulted in his debut album being released the year he turned 50; hence the title “Delphinium,” a late-blooming flower. This also led to him developing courses and coaching programs for developing artists seeking guidance on their own musical journeys.
Dean is currently based in Nashville, Tennessee, USA, playing showcases and songwriter nights nationwide, as well as in the Europe where his music has been well received.
